Progress made on the projected lowering of renovation costs stated by Bluegreen on April 14, 2012 at all 3 HOA meetings. They are projecting about a 40% lowering of those renovation costs.

Someone? also made a suggestion to have owner involvement in regards to the renovations. That suggestion was accepted by the Timbers HOA board.

A suggestion was made by me at the Timbers HOA meeting and Timbers
meetings to have the UDI Timbers renovation costs based on those direct
costs and the Deluxe Timbers and Townhouse Timbers renovation costs based on
those direct renovation costs. Otherwise the UDI owners would be
subsidizing the larger Deluxe Timbers and Townhouse Timbers units
renovation costs. That someone also pointed out the the Deluxe Timbers and
Townhouse Timbers have larger maintenance fees per WEEK so separate direct renovation costs would be only fair based on direct costs.

A suggestion was made by me at the Villa (Cabin) HOA meeting and
Timbers meetings to have the cabin renovation costs based on those direct
costs and the Villa costs based on those direct costs. Otherwise the Cabin
owners would be subsidizing the larger Villa units. That someone also
pointed out the the Villas have larger maintenance fees so separate direct
renovation costs would be only fair based on direct renovation costs.

So did they say how much the renovation is likely to be and how much for the special assessment?

Bluegreen had no firm figures but there may be some more savings found over the next few months or at least a better bank for the buck.

Milwaukie garage doors

A garage door is a big investment, adding both style and interest to your home. The style, color and condition of the door have a great influence on the overall appearance and curb appeal of the home. When shopping for a garage door you should also consider the things for which you use your garage. If it also serves as a workshop, utility room or play area, then you'll need a door with good insulating properties. Here are a few tips to help you make the right decision.
