Procuring tests for your business

I'm curious if any business owners here are looking into doing testing for their staff, and how easy/affordable to actually get your hands on any of them?

I saw a news bit about summer camps, and advice to stand up testing, and I wondered, is that even feasible, financially?? My gut feel is that it would be an enormous expense, but, even more difficult, to actually lay hands on them. I would expect that demand will outstrip supply for a long while yet.

Anyone involved in this with your company or organization?? Especially interested in any that have actually gotten tests delivered and ready to go.

I have a relative who works in the nursing home and assisted living center business. About two months ago, they were able to track down some tests, and he had to fly by private jet to the east coast somewhere to pick them up and bring them back to the midwest for usage. It was during the period when testing was pretty scarce, so I was surprised they were even able to find them. I didn't ask what the price tag was.

I’m in charge of this at my company. We’ve ordered a ton of PPE; masks, Clorox bleach, non touch thermometers, face shields, gloves, hand soap,hand sanitizer, and signage for social distancing.
We are making it mandatory for all employees to start via a staggered time schedule. Each employee will have their temp checked at the entrance and each must complete a health questionnaire.
I’ve already got employees pissed because they want to switch the schedule all around and I’ve got some employees that don’t want to come back into the office till 2021.
So it’s really been trying times for me. I’m not thrilled that I have to take the temp of every employee

We have been doing that for a while also. We have two places to take the temp and survey so we didn’t have to alter schedules. Those thermometers are pretty quick.
