luckily i have booked all catagory 6 (that i want to go to in the near future) when they were category 4 or 5. so i got the hotel at a lower starpoint rate, staying with the 5 th night free and now get platinum upgrades so i get value from my starpoints .

i wouldn't go with the whole family but for my DH and myself for a 5 nights away at a resort where there is no timeshares it is great.

Absolutely! I was just at the Westin Whistler for 5 nights in a loft suite, and we had a great time (other than rain for two days...). But, I wouldn't want to spend my Options on such a stay...
