The list of restaurants is discouraging, and if CSR doesn't make changes, this may be the dealbreaker for us, in terms of getting adequate value to continue with this card. Options in Hawaii other than Oahu & Maui would help.
 
I agree. Heading to Palm Springs. nada. Would also like to see Cabo.

PSA: If you are 2 player and planning to downsize 1 of your cards (which we may do TBD based on value). Consolidate your points to one card so you can grandfather to 2027 on one card you will keep because the points are taken out FIFO instead of newer points. Once Oct 26 hits, you can still move points across cards but the grandfather 1.5 status is lost.

This way you have player 1 card with grandfathered points for Chase Travel and player 2 card with new points for use with 1:1 air and hotel transfers which remain the same. I confirmed with customer service that Player 2 can transfer points to player 1 airlines and hotels as long as in same household address. No need for AU status (which costs money with CSR as you know).

If you plan on bailing then move the points to an Ink or Freedom card to continue to receive the 1.25 points.

I looked in my Chase app today and noticed the activations for some of the benefits. I activated Stub Hub and the Apple Music and TV. I have had Apple One at $38 a month for several years which includes TV, Music, iCloud storage, Workout and magazines. We rarely use the workout and I only occasionally read the magazines so I cancelled Apple One and can get 2TB of iCloud storage for $10 a month. A nice savings since I already use TV and Music.

We will try the restaurant in Encinitas before the end of the year to claim the $150. Not likely I"ll do an Edit stay before the end of the year.

I activated the Apple and then cancelled Apple One. Then I paid for 50GB of I cloud storage for $2.99 a month. I was paying $38 so a decent savings. If 50GB isn’t enough, 2TB is $9.99.

My buddy is coming to town this weekend and the SDSU Aztecs have a home football game. I might use my Stub Hub benefit so we can go.
 
Where are we with the timeshare fees coding as hotels- I own Marriott and Vistana and looking back to last year it appears the Vistana properties coded as “timeshare” and the Marriott coded as “marriott” so I am guessing the Vistana won’t get the 4 points and the marriott might?

Ate at Lumbre in San Jose del Cabo tonight. As discussed earlier, I have absolutely no expectation for the CSR Open Tables Exclusive Table credit. Nonetheless, I recommend it as a great dinner. A bit on the expensive side - we did the tasting menu, which is about $100 each.. The octopus was fabulous!

You can also change to the no annual fee Freedom Visa with UR. It is not available to new applications but can be changed to. If you get a rep that says it does not exist and wants to move you to the Freedom Flex Mastercard just hang up and try again.
