PR resorts

Do you mean Presidential rooms? If you look at the units at each resort you can see what size units there are. Many have presidential units. Only Presidential Reserve resorts have PR units though.

Sorry..yes Presidental reserve resorts. Just didnt know if there was a list vs going into each resort to look..

Chicago's Wyndham timeshare resort doesn't exist anymore.

Emerald Grande has had the presidential reserve units closed for over a year. I’ve inquired multiple times but get different answers. The most consistent answer is that they are being remodeled however the maintenance department at the resort knows nothing about remodeling and says they are sitting empty? The reserved parking spots for PR units have been empty the times I’ve visited.

Do we know of any PR owners who's home resort is Emerald Grand? I'm wondering if that one is going the way of Glacier Canyon PR.

It wouldn't surprise me because Emerald Grande is one of the few resorts that still has worthwhile PR perks.

I have a reservation next month so I called in with questions. So I asked about the PR units and I was told that it might be in the Fall. There was another thread about there being no availability starting in September. So maybe it is Fall and they are holding it all until everything is ready to drop.

I believe those are presidential units, but not Presidential Reserve. Whether that's relevant depends on whether the OP was simply looking for elevated accommodations, or the booking benefits that come with PR ownership.

The booking window for non-PR owners is the big difference. I think that's your point.

As long as people understand that the actual units are the same. A Presidential Reserve unit isn't an upgraded Presidential unit -- at least not in terms of square footage or upgrades from Deluxe units.

Some people say that Presidential Reserve units in Tower 6 at Bonnet Creek are on higher floors than Presidential units. I don't know but considering Presidential units are on higher floors than Deluxe units, it's probably a matter of a floor or two.

The PR room I stayed in at Clearwater was at the top floor. All the rooms at the top floor were PR.
