I am posting historical maintenance fee amounts to show the increases in fees we have experienced at Hono Koa, oceanfront units. We own three weeks. We cannot rent for our MF's, no one will rent these weeks.
I just went back four additional years:
2021: $2,050.58 This includes property taxes of $296.20
2022: $2,202.68 This includes property taxes of $313.20
2023: $2,698.40 This includes property taxes of $426.20
2024: $3009.68 This includes property taxes of $518.70
2025: $3258.32 (Estimated property taxes based on 2024 taxes, not billed until late summer)
This is not sustainable for us. Oceanfront is nice, the recent updates are good, I like that we have a 2 bedroom, in case we have family joining us. But GEEZ! There is a very small pool and a hot tub on property. That's about the only amenity.
Soleil needs to figure out a rental program and implement it.
