I have sinus issues (take 2 kinds of allergy medicine every day and had a surgery to clean up my sinuses a few years ago). I can have difficulty breathing without a mask. I simply would not be able to use a mask while working out. Lucky for me, I have plenty of things I can do at home or outdoors close to home.
I've done a couple hikes/walks with a friend recently. We used masks and did our social distancing. I did have to stop a few times to remove my mask to breathe on a hot day where we were doing inclines and declines. When I did my long beach walk with a friend, I was fine, but she had to stop a couple times to remove her mask to breathe.
I got certified to give massages during Shelter in Place. I applied weeks before that, but that's when it came through. Massage isn't allowed in my state right now and I think it is falling under salons as far as reopening goes. I just realized this week that I will probably have to wear a mask when I give a massage. That means, I won't be able to work. I can barely breathe when I am not doing Thai Chi and proper body mechanics require massage therapists to do Thai Chi while giving a massage. I am actually kind of dumbfounded with this turn of events. I am going to test out some things to see if I can get it to work. My poor husband has to keep getting massages at home while I test it out.
