Police reveal exactly how little girl fell from Disney Dream cruise ship before her heroic father saved her

I was on the Disney Dream one week after this incident. Picture below was taken on the ship which shows the area where the little girl fell out of the port window. It is an easy climb for a child and wouldn’t take much to fall. Her parents were playing shuffleboard nearby but this area is out of sight of the shuffleboard players.

Wow! OMG I can’t believe that little ledge/sill is there. A child would absolutely be drawn to wanting to stand on the ledge in addition to sitting on the railing. Looks like an accident waiting to happen AGAIN!

The full story has been released. The mother had the 5 year old daughter climb up on the railing to take a picture and then the girl fell over backwards. Parents blame Disney.

Based on the configuration of the railing and window, it surprises me that that little girl was the first to fall to the sea!
But the mother (as with the grandfather on the RCCL ship) bear blame as well.

That's just insane - IDK if it should be criminal, but I think the mom is the responsible one.
