Vil. people act like they know nothing about them and they make it sound like I will not get the points.... and then I call RCI and they have nothing either.... I am very VERY frustrated..... thanks for letting me vent.... Dave

[triennial - points]
I Resemble That Remark.

I own a Time Share with Vacation Village at Parkway.
Hey -- I've got 1 of those myself.

It's just a 2BR triennial, worth 30,833 points annually, but it's OK.

When we bought it last year via eBay, we made sure the closing services agency knew we already had a paid-up RCI Points membership, & we sent the agency our membership number via E-Mail.

We paid a transfer fee to get the unit added to our existing RCI Points account & that was that. Everything went through promptly without a hitch.

If we had not already been RCI Points members, we would have had to pay a fee to get a new RCI Points membership set up in our names, plus the transfer fee to get the eBay Vacation Village At Parkway triennial points unit transferred into our new account.

If you're still having trouble getting your newly acquired points unit going the way it's spozed to, maybe the place to start asking questions is the closing services agency which handled deed preparation & recording & resort transfer etc.

Good luck.

Who was the interval purchased from?

If from a "dealer" like on eBay then the closer or dealer will need to send in a form to RCI Points to either set up a new account or add this interval to an existing account.

If from a private party - contact an RCI Points rep and obtain a transfer form and then you and the seller need to fill it out and send it in with the fees.

If you are setting up a new account it is $224 to RCI ($100 is for your first years membership).

If you are adding this interval to an existing account it is $124 to RCI.

Vacation Village has little to do with it until the account is set up and until they get the "transfer form" RCI wont know you from bumkus.
