Can someone explain this to me.

I booked a reservation for Cabo Azul - when I hit the enter, the reservation was 35,940 points. When I got the email confirmation - the points used were 28,762. Is HVC going to come back to me and pull the additional 7,178 points?
 
not that it matters, but are you booking with trust points? or hgvc max points?

call CS if that's free for you...

I was using 2026 Hawaii Trust points saved into 2027. Then used a combo of 14k 2027 Cabo Azul Trust points and the saved points. I booked a March 2027 week.

If I did the math correctly - I should have ended with 6822 points. I still have exactly 14k in my account. I called. Both the CS agent on the phone and my emails came up with the same amount - 28762 for the booking.

I questioned it, but I not going to dispute it. Just wondering if they’ll come back and take it?
