I don't see it as neither. Just another tidbit of advice to help you out. You are trying to do something that would be very niche with a very small market of people to rent the condo to. Airbnb and Vrbo have a well known marketplace with millions of renters. While you may have been seeking something totally different, it doesn't mean it is the best thing to do. Sometimes it makes sense to not try and reinvent the wheel.
You are correct! I guess I just don’t know how to go about it on that way when it comes to those type of platform. I will definitely look more into it. Thank you so much for the input.
 
Thank you so much Bill. Yes, you are correct as you are referring to the CONFOTUR Tax law. You do not have property tax for 15 years (however, if your property stays under $166k you never pay taxes) which of course you we always want the value to go up right? So yes, you are 100% right!

Ours it’s valued at around 500k. We build another 2bed 1 bad apartment on our top roof as it was part of the deal we could do that. So in reality 2 separate apartments.. 2bed 2bath downstairs and 2bed 1 bad upstairs
