Thanks for the links. It's good to know the target date has passed for the most current refurbs. When we were there a few years ago, the buildings were being steam-cleaned, but that didn't seem to impact any amenities. I'll call the resort as we get closer to check-in for an update. We always enjoy our time at Barony. :)

Is there any news to report on those proposed changes to the garden villa pool area?

There haven't been any further notices from the resort GM and I don't remember seeing any posts about them from TUGgers who have been there recently. During our visit in June we'll attend the owners' get-together, will report anything new then along with pics of the refurbs. Can't wait to get back there, we exchanged our week last year so it's been a while. This year we're lucky and will be there in June (DC Points) and September (owner's week.) :)
 
Have exchanged into Barony 3 times (twice in August). HAve never been put in garden units. First time we were in the oceanside unit overlooking the outdoor pool next to the indoor pool. Last year we were in the front building (am sorry I can't remember the names) right next to the main pool. I did not ask for oceanside but I did request high floor as expected garden view and to be honest wouldn't really have minded :rofl:
