Picked up an SDO 1BR yesterday

1-52 Floater.....Wife is tired of hearing about it (ironically not tired of traveling though!) so I figured Id share with you guys. It included the 2011 week free. Primarily going to be a trader, although we may visit Arizona to escape the winter and make a road trip out of it. We both have always wanted to drive cross country!

Also, I like to plan travel so far in advance that its hard to not grab these exchanges when I see them!! grrrr

To ease the pain for her I also bought her a new carry-on travel bag...she was slightly less annoyed with my Timeshare obsession afterwards! :whoopie:

It is working on my school skipping 11 yo nephew. Today, marks 4 weeks with no absences. This is a record for him since he entered kindergarten. Missed almost 30 school days last year. He missed 2 out of 6 of his first days this Fall term.

He wants to go to Florida with me and not with his brothers or with his parents; just him and I.

I already travel with a 4 1/2 (not 4, he will make sure you know hes 4 1/2) and an infant on the way...Im good for a few years! This is why we need one sneak away for ourselves each year!

I have no idea what she spent it on.

One of my many nephews is ADHD. He is a joy to be with. I would have loved to take him to Disneyworld. Now he is 24, engaged to be married, and he works on software for Lego. He is a little genius, that kid. Proud to be his aunt. He and I were always close. He spent a lot of weekends with me, and he got bored easily. He was a busy guy.

Congrats on the SDO purchase. I love owning in the Starwood system, and a free week for 2011 is even better.

I'm in the same boat - purchased the small 1BR from ebay with low closing costs and 2011 included. I've been told by Capital Resort Transfers that the deed was recorded oct 11 and it's now with SVO, but my call to them today indicated that they were not aware of me yet. My fingers crossed that it will all be done in time for me to deposit 2011 and get some use out of it in exchange. The lady I spoke to at 888-786-9637 said that II membership comes with the purchase, but that sounded wrong to me based on the links in this forum to get discounted membership. Could someone comment on that?

That's the owner services - call the title department at 1-800-729-8246 Monday to check on it.

The SDO resale will not come with an included II account. You will have to open your own.
