Who knows the latest about the PIC Program that Wyndham has? I have some info on it but want to make sure that I'm not missing some rules and/or catches in the program.

If you aren't doing it in conjunction with a developer purchase or upgrade, there is an expiration date, 5 years I think. I've seen arguments that it always has an expiration even if you buy it with a purchase, but that's not what Wyndham says in Owner Education. You can PIC a max of 2 intervals, and they must be weeks intervals affiliated with RCI.

Studio 70,000
1 BR 105,000
2 BR 154,000
3 BR 254,000

PIC Plus allows points that can be applied toward VIP status, and can be used for reservations. You pay your standard maintenance fees on the underlying interval and give Wyndham use of the week. To use the associated Wyndham points, you must call Wyndham to make your PIC deposit at least 9 months before the check in of your interval. RCI will confirm that the interval is in good standing with all fees paid to date, and then you call Wyndham again to choose which use year the points go in and pay an $89 fee per deposit. PIC points do not get ARP and I don't think they can be deposited with RCI, though I'm not sure of that.

PIC Express applies points toward VIP, but you don't give Wyndham use of the week and the points aren't used for reservations. Also, points contracts can be used to increase VIP level through PIC Express, where only weeks contracts can be used to get Wyndham points through PIC plus.

If you transfer or will your Wyndham membership to a family member, the PIC contracts are removed.
