Pic requires another developer purchase. Usually if your going to PIC you might as well go for the maximum. It was 2 three plus br units. Is it now only one? Is PIC plus the permanent version or the one that only lasts 3 or 5 years. It definitely wouldn't be worth another developer purchase to get you up to silver for just a couple of years.

Silver requires 400000 points. A 3 bedroom redweek will pic to 254000 points and requires a purchase of at least 50000 points from Wyndham... (what they will probably sell you is a 105000 or 126000 eoy at $10000 to $12000 and you will have just over 300000 points

Thats not enough for silver

You can do 2 pics per account, so, double up. Two 3 bedroom red weeks and a 105000 point contract ($15000 to $20000) Now you are at silver. To at least partially offset the money that you have to spend to do this find weeks to pic with mf as low as you can find. I have 2 weeks where the mf is under $500 each when I pic to points them Ill have am mf rate of under $2.50/1000 points saving me about $2000 a year against what the typical Wyndham contracts would be. With a 10 year payback I can justify spending the money to do this

That is what I was looking into. Looking at cost including yearly mf. Thanks for the advice to look at two three bedrooms. That would maximize points. I do understand I would need a developer purchase. What I am unclear on is which resorts are eligible. Would any resort that is in RCI be accepted?

I am just putting together information for myself, as time is on my side. When I bought, I did so with the intention of one vacation week a year in a really nice condo. Now having a timeshare, I find that I will use it altogether differently. While I will still take a week vacation, I will take multiple two day weekday stays in Orlando. So far, as I have been playing around on reservation system, I have found availability at Bonnet Creek and Star Island two and three weeks out as well as at 8 month mark. With the exception of March, which I cannot travel anyway. Even booked 2 days for my anniversary for 18k at Bonnet Creek. Cant beat that. Have temporary silver for 2016 and 2017.

Ron,

My sister owns a pic week worth 154,000 and a deed at Bonnet Creek 84,000 alternate odd year. Any way I can use these to make silver if I have the 105,000 developer contract?

Thanks,

Kevin

PIC plus vs PIC express

BTW, you cannot credit pool PIC points.
