When my kids were little DD got one with her & minnie mouse & DS got ghostbusters - they are 20 and 21 now and still have them.

I think they are a great idea

My wife bought some at personalcreations.com. They do Disney, Dora, etc books and personalize them with the child in the book (name and other facts). Just do a search for book from the site. The kids we bought them for loved it.

DMS, I make personalized children's CD"S It is for a child up to 6 or 7.
There are 8 songs and says the childs name 45 times. It has the ABC, Please and Thank You, etc.
They are very nice and a great travel tool for the car, at home, or wherever.

I just received the "Santa" personalized book I ordered...
I didn't realize that I ordered the "African-American" book! Santa and Mrs. Clause are black! LOL
Guess when our grandson is old enough, (he's only 1 now) we'll have to explain that Santa is like God, and he's all colors of the world.

Because of this thread I have sold several of the Personalized CD"S for Kids.
Keep this in mind for your next gift Grandma. They truley are great gifts for kids and no color. Thanks everyone for the orders. It was fun to do these.

I bought some last year for the kids from shutterfly.com

One was Sesame Street and one was Dora the Explorer. They were very well done with pictures of the kids and everything but they were expensive, I think about $40.

Hi Janna, I know the kind you are talking about. Mine is different. It has 8 songs , ABC"S and PLEASE AND THANK YOU, Going to the Play Ground, Space and others. It also says the childs name 45 times. NO pictures. Mine are only $20.
I have never gotten tired of hearing this one. It is SOO.... nice.
