According to Google maps it is 1.2 miles on foot.

It is at least a mile and takes me 20 minutes but i hate to walk. I use the #7 ART bus for transport. Peacock suits is the first stop to disney and the first stop from disney.

While walking over might not be bad, walking back at the end of the day after you've been walking all over the parks wouldn't be pleasant at all....at least not to me. 
You CAN, but with all the walking you'll do in the parks, do yourself a favor. There's a ticket machine out front of Peacock's lobby door. $10 pp for 3 days. A bus every 20 minutes. Can't beat it.
