Some of you have heard of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN - near Gatlinburg.

Friday, the last day of our vacation, we drove North on the Parkway.
There are 2 left-turn lanes onto 4-lane Wears Valley Road (US 321).
We were in the inside left-turn lane, and turned left - DW driving.

We proceeded normally on the inside lane of the 4-lane highway.
But a kid in a jeep crossed 2 lanes of traffic and turned left into our car.
He struck the rear-left side. No injuries, just dents + scrapes ($2,000).
We both pulled into the median, and gave our stories to the cop.
After a phone call - He claimed that we changed lanes, striking him.

Sgt. Shultz (like from Hogan's Heros) said he couldn't tell who was right.
So, no tickets. The other driver's last name was "Parton" on "Parton Way."
He talked with the officer like a friend.

I decided not to do anything that might get me tased.
