Parent's club wyndham timeshare is driving me crazy

This isn’t true. Wyndham owns inventory at a number of Worldmark resorts. In the past two years I’ve used my Wyndham points to book stays at club Wyndham Oceanside Pier, Club Wyndham Anaheim, etc. There are several locations you can book at in San Diego, in Anaheim, etc.

Oceanside Pier is really nice if they’re looking for a beach stay on the West Coast. You just need to make sure you’re trying to book it right at the 10 month mark (which you can with your points), as it does book up.
by west coast, I meant the mountains, sorry. My parents dont care for California or beaches. They like the wilderness like Glacier National Park or Yellowstone

Maybe you used to choose resorts with the map, but that is no longer possible. Now you have to search differently.
I have only ever used the map, so I guess I will have to search by landmark or closet city now :/

@Floridaman76 This is the website. And the home resort. But I can book in the app. So maybe it is the website.

@Fido Chuckwagon Thanks for the app suggestion!

Do you have a Club Wyndham account or a Worldmark account?

Please post a screenshot of your "my ownership" page, please redact things like contract numbers and owner names.

You absolutely should be able to book at Ocean Walk if you are a Club Wyndham owner. Maybe a webpage error or something jacked up with your account?

There's also several ways to book or search.

How I do it, log in, go to resorts, then search for a resort, then choose the "monthly availability calendar". See below:

It’s pretty easy to search by location. Make sure you see what you want as your typing (it has type-ahead and then a drop down).

Still in the app you might see a message your membership can’t book at a particular resort. Sometimes just trying again works.

If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.

And as a rule, the app is better. But if the app doesn’t work, try the website. Just the other day, my nephew couldn’t add a night, using the app. He tried the website and it worked. They can make me look so smart, lol. I’ve also had to call in when an add on didn’t work…

And really, you have to do your best to know the rules, so you can keep trying until you succeed.
