Owner Update Gift

Currently at the Westin Riverfront Villas in Colorado.

Wondering what the going rate for owner updates is. I typically prefer Bonvoy points.

In March I stayed in Breckenridge and I was offered 40,000 to attend a virtual presentation. I thought I would be meeting the sales team from Westin Riverfront (I did a virtual presentation with them in 2024) but met with someone from Orlando instead. Before that I was on Orlando in December and was offered $300.

I am here too! (Westin Riverfront). I was offered 30,000 Bonvoy points or 500 Club Points. I went for the latter, since I find them useful at non-Vistana properties. I am going to Steamboat on Thursday with Club Points. 770 Club Points for 8 nights in a 2 BR unit.

We were offered 50,000 Bonvoy Points. Asked for more but they said no. Will still go.

(There were other options but I wanted Bonvoy points)

At the Sheraton Steamboat Springs they offered me 50,000 Bonvoy points or 500 Club Points. They said I would get the points even though I just did an update a week earlier at the Westin Roverfront. I passed this time. There's only so much of my vacation time I was willing to give up.
