Owner Services (reservations) has new hours in 2019

Maybe someone has already posted this and I just missed it, but I just noticed that Owner Services has new hours and will be closed on Sundays in 2019. They are also closing an hour earlier every day:

Effective Jan. 4, 2019, New Hours of Operation:
Monday–Friday: 9 a.m.–8 p.m. Eastern time
Saturday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Eastern time
Sunday: Closed

Adjusted hours for Monday, Dec. 24: 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Eastern time and
Monday, Dec. 31: 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Eastern time

Closed Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
 
the same for Interval, the call center will no longer be open on Sundays. i guess Marriott is cutting costs.

Yup. They gotta pay for the acquitision somehow. We all knew this would not be good for the customer.
 
It also looks like they are cutting way back on Interval Travel. They used to be open on Saturday and Sunday, now they will be closed. Not sure this is wise as this is actually a full service travel agency. Customers may just go elsewhere.
 
I rarely call II. I do everything online. I am not sure why being closed on Sundays would really matter. I think MVC customer service is closed on Sunday but that is super inconvenient since the only way to cancel a DP reservation is to call in. MVC really needs to add a cancellation feature online for the timeshares.

The only way to cancel an II exchange or cancel within 24 hours of confirmation is to call in. Can't cancel II exchanges online either.

Okay, then this is bad. II needs to develop an online cancellation feature.
 
These new hours generally line up with the MVCI customer service hours. So it looks like similar hours across the portfolio.
