Owner Name on Reservation vs Check In

We have 4 family members listed as owners. I'll refer to them as A, B, C and D.

I have a reservation in the name of Family Member A.

Now, it appears that Family Member B will be arriving first to the property and would like to check in.

Can B check in if the reservation is under A? Can that be changed? Does it matter as long as A and B are listed as owners?

They will only allow the person listed on the reservation to check-in. It can be changed, you'll need to call in and they should be able to do it and waive the fee. (They will have to enter it as a guest confirmation when they change it, but will list "CO-OWNER" when they add the guest confirmation.)

Call the resort front desk first. A couple of summer's ago I had booked at Ocean Blvd. When I called to let them know my daughter who is not an owner would be arriving before me they allowed her to check it. I know they did not have to. Also at Nat Harbor, Kingsgate and Govenor's green oftern my wife is allowed to check in while I wait in the car even though the reservation is in my name. Once again I know they don't have to but you lose nothing if you call ahead and see what they say especially if the person whose name is on the reservation is actually arriving at some point that day.

My wife and I are both listed as owners. We had week at Bonnet Creek in my name and I ended up not going. We called and asked if we needed to change the reservation. They told us that as long as my wife is listed as an owner no change is needed. She checked in with no problems.
