I was just walking back from the pool, here at the resort, and I noticed something;
All of the balconies at this TS here in Orlando have outdoor ceiling fans....none of which are moving. The wife and I like the fresh air during the day, so we open the doors and windows, turn on all the ceiling fans and let the world in. At night we use the a/c for a good sleep.
So - does anybody use the fans in the unit?
How about the fans on the balconies?
How much is allocated for outdoor fans (are they special weather proof to stand up to moisture, wind etc).
Why I put this in buying, selling, renting is this:
We have 2 balconies with a fan on each. Figure the cost of this at least $100 per. A couple hundred fans for the building mean about $20K - 2 buildings here = $40K for something no one seems to use.
Can the money be spent somewhere else?
Do you buy a timeshare if it does/doesn't have fans, or is it just a nice touch - make it seem a little more 'caribbean'?
Are you a fan of fans?
(mods pls feel free to put this into another category, if you see fit)
