We headed to Orlando in June. My wife and I and our 2 children are making the trip and I am seriously considering driving down. I plan on renting a minivan for about 11 days and stopping about halfway in the Tennessee area. I am in the Chicago area and would like to get opinions on a couple of items.

1. Since I am not a big motel fan, I would like to stay for a day at one of the resorts in TN. I am going to be a RCI points member soon, but wonder if that is the best channel to pick up a single day stay.

2. I am not sure I want to come back the same way. I am thinking of driving up through Virginia into Pennslyvania to the Hershey area for a day or two and then home.

Any thoughts on the best way to get single days at resorts and from where, travel tips, the drive in both directions, etc.

Any and all advice greatly appreciated.

Bill
