Hello,

We are staying at Barony Beach for 3 nights in late September. Other family members just decided they would look to come join us, but Barony currently shows no listings. I am looking for recommendations for something nearby of good quality. TS preferred, but even a hotel is possible.

I know the Westin is nearby - anyone know if there is reciprocity for the amenities?

There is availability in Surf Watch for rental units, but that is on other end of the island.

Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You may want to try Royal Dunes. I know they rent by the day and have 3BR 3BA units.

Royal Dunes is next to the Garden building at Barony. Island Links is toward the entrance. They are both gold crown timeshares. Neither are Marriott quality or amenities but the are large and comfortable and convenient to Barony.

Surfwatch is not on the other end of the island. It is pretty close as the crow flies. The ones at Shelter Cove are good and also not that far away. Bluewater is up on the north end near the Boathouse and Hudson's. It looks pretty nice from what I can tell. The Marriott hotel is a little south of Barony

Thanks everyone. Royal Dunes is sold out, but Island Links has units available that we will reserve while I try for Barony.

I made a mistake earlier - it wasn't surf watch I have reserved it is Sunset Pointe at Harbour Cove. That is at the other end of the aisle.

We stayed at Island Links a couple of years ago and we loved it there. It is clean, the units are large, but the pool is small. However, the location would be perfect for your convenience to the Barony Beach Resort. In fact, you will have to pass Island Links on your way to Barony. I wouldn't hesitate to use this resort.
