Just wondering if anyone can make a comment on One Napili Way. The last review on TUG I found was 2009 and were very average, or negative. Two more recent reviews on TripAdvisor are 5 star. I have a 3br week on hold through Interval for late September and just wondering if the resort and units are nice for a family of four. Whilst the location is great, the comments on unit quality are conflicting. Not sure if things have changed. Should I hold out for others or go with this ??? Appreciate any views.....Thanks

I would never have a problem staying there. It's an average resort, very nice units that aren't fancy, and the units are very nicely sized. The complex was really built for another purpose, I think either apartments or condos, and the developer/ owner decided to sell it as timeshare instead. There was a pride of ownership, and it was actually the developer who showed us around. They don't give a gift for stopping by and looking, and because of that, no sales pressure at all.

We found the place clean and nice, but we weren't staying there. We were interested in buying and saw several units and walked the grounds. If they had a unit for us at the time, we would have purchased. Now I am smarter and wiser.

I would love to get an exchange there.

Drove by there last month, and it still looks good. (We did not view any of the units.) I would difinitely "take-it" --- do you realize HOW HARD it is to get a Maui exchange, of a 2-br unit, not to mention that of a 3-br unit ??!!!

For Hawaii, I think Maui is the hardest exchange. I wouldn't hesitate to confirm that exchange.

Tony

I would keep your reservation

We frequently stay at the nearby Napili Shores, and meet many people
Staying at this spot.

I have heard no complaints.
We walk past it frequently, as it has a nice turtle watching cove nearby.

I don't know anything about the TS, but Napili beach is the most fun beach I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy.

Look at the rental rates for Napili Kai, a hotel/ motel right on the beach. Crazy expensive, but I know people who rent there, because they can and do bring their small dogs. I even recommended it to a friend, because she had to take their little poodle.

One Napili Way has a rare partial ocean view unit. There is a resort in front of the ocean, blocking its view. There is a nice walkway to the beach, but definitely no ocean from the lanai, unless you luck out.

I am an owner.

I think I wrote the mixed review you are referrring to in your post. Everything is relative. Three bedrooms located near the best beach on the island, what are you waiting for?.. Yes, there are resorts with better accomodations and better views. But none are on Napili Bay. Go for it and have a great time. Ben

I don't believe this resort has AC if that matters. It would to me.
