one bedroom vs one bedroom premium ?

Which resort?

Usually Starwood means that two sleep in the bedroom and two on the sofabed in the living room.

A one bedroom premium is a large one bedroom, and usually permits 5 guests:

-King bed in a private bedroom
-Queen sofa bed in the living room
-Optional twin roll-away bed

A one bedroom deluxe is a smaller one bedroom, and usually only permits 4 guest, and doesn't permit a roll-away bed.

Wow, Denise. You are like an all-knowing goddess. How on earth do you know these things? I read this thinking, "Huh? What resort are they asking about?"

One of my resorts (SDO) has this set-up, and so does Harborside, and a few others that have 2 types of one bedroom units.

The Goddess has spoken….

Westin Kierland villas also has this set up

You can also look up the sizes of the 1 br deluxe vs premium. I think most deluxe are less than 500 square feet. Depending on the resort some have a nearly full kitchen. The 1 br premiums are closer to 900 sq ft. I think a deluxe would be tight for 4 adults for a full week. If one set of adults were in their 20's and don't mind the lack of privacy it might be ok. The premium would have the lack of privacy issue but at 1.75 times larger there is a little more breathing room. I know that at Harborside and Broadway Plantation most deluxe 1 br's won't have balconies.

We recently stayed at the smaller 1 bdrm at Kierland, and IMO, 3 adults would fit in okay, but 4 would be tight. The sofa bed is only a double, but bedroom has the king. It had nice balcony which would seat 4 fine.

max in 2BR at SBP?

I thought the confirmation I got from my EOY premium 1BR at SBP said max of 4 people. Is it really 5? That would be great!
Can anyone confirm? Tx.
Susan

The confirmations always say "4" for the one bedroom premiums, but at some resorts they allow 5. To be safe - call the front desk.
