About 30 miles from the Main Airport in Maui sits the Marriott Maui Ocean Club. What an amazing resort. There are Multiple Pools and Multiple Jacuzzi's.... Best to get there early to put a towel down and reserve your seat for the day. It can get crowded.

This resort is very luxurious. The ocean is right in front of you (I included a short sunset video). I love the barbecue grills because they have covered seating. There is also a nice ocean walk that goes past many of the resorts above the beach on concrete so you can stroll for over a mile along the ocean. Enjoy the video.

Thank you for your review, but many vacationers, specially TUGers, don't take kindly to this practice, unless you accompany the towel when you set it down that early. Something to consider.
I don't actually put my towel down unless I am with it.... But it is the reality. It is the game that is played. I typically go for a morning walk and see all the towels out by the time I get back.

KIndly or not, sometimes you have to do what the crowd does or be left out.

Thank you for the review. Also, I am not sure if the saunas are up and running adjacent to the gym. It was a great feature of the workout room as it is the adjacent yoga room if you have your own link to a podcast for a workout.

I, too, get irritated with people laying out their towels. I usually go to the gym at 6:15 a.m. before everyone is up and by the time I leave and shower in the room, I see towels everywhere by 8:00 a.m. and no people. It makes me just go to the beach in Napili. Great shots, Clif. Thank you.

Towel People are fun to watch. Pool attendants will tell you it is not allowed, but not enforced. We met a person who brings her own pool towel (not hotel issued) and simply removes the other.

Does MMO staff remove unattended towels after x amount of time?

I don't think they remove towels... They have a system where they track the towels, so removing a towel would cost someone $25

Headed there next week. What was your offer for presentation. They said 20k Bonvoy points. I politely declined lol.

I just arrived today. My offer was for 500 Club Points, 25,000 Bonvoy points or some cash offer. I am taking the 500 Club Points.

Traded a Grande Vista Studio for Napili Tower 1BR Ocean Front. They stuck us on the 2nd Floor near the pool. Bummed, but hard to complain considering the trade.

MM1 is a great trade any time, but trading a studio for it is REALLY great especially since the increased trade power for Hawaii recently. Hope you're having a fantastic week.

That's a great trade. We did the same last year with our DSV-I studio. They put us on the 3rd floor at the end closest to Molokai building, technically ocean front, but looking mostly at the building. Like you say, can't complain, it's such a satisfying feeling to get that trade. Enjoy Maui...and we also took the 500 MVC points last week, in and out in under 45 minutes.

Funny, we're on the 2nd floor closest to Molokai building! Guess that is where they stick traders! We're having a great time. Beats our first trade many years ago which was garden view or island view in the old building, and we were staring at the parking lot and some mechanical equipment!
