I understand that most of the one-bedroom unit can sleep up to 4 people. But want to clarify how it works. I assume there is a king bed in the bedroom, and for my 2 kids, there should be some kind of sleeper sofa in the living room? Is that how one-bedroom works?

What's your experience with the sleeper sofa for 2 kids?

Thanks!

Depending on your kids, they may survive or you won't.

I would not suggest drugging the children -- but it really depends. The worst that happens is each parent gets to sleep with one of the kids OR NO ONE WILL SLEEP.

Personally, my sister's 2 older sons, would have when younger (under 12 yo) would shared a sofabed - no problem. Add the 3rd brother into the mix and no matter where you put him and in any combination, NO ONE SLEEPS. Neither brothers and neither parent.

And that is why he would be sent off to stay with me.

ADDED: Air mattresses did not help my sister with those 3 boys. I got several FREE VACATIONS as I got the youngest boy as my roommate. Alaskan 7 day cruise was really nice.

You are correct, sir... 4 in 1 bed is a wee bit too cozy, IMHO.
But you might want to bring an air mattress, in case they don't wanna share the sofa.

When in doubt, call and ask. I'm fairly certain that we had 2 double beds in our one bedroom at the Grand Waikikian. Marbrisa has the one bed in the bedroom with a sofa sleeper. Resort and room type make a difference.

How old are your children ?

I know Anderson 1 bed room plus has a Murphy bed that pulls down. I think it also has the sofa bed.

Presley is right some locations there is a choice of 1 king or 2 dbl's such as grand waikikian. But usually it's a king and a sofa bed.

One time with my sister and her two kids about 6 and 4 at the time, we decided that one got the sofa bed and one got to sleep on the floor. Guess what, they spent the next couple of hours fighting over who got to sleep on the floor. We finally gave up and both slept on the floor.

Now they do two bedrooms.

Btw - I can't speak for the rest of the HGVC locations but flamingo has the most comfortable sofa beds I have ever seen (or felt).
