Old owner name still on account/ RCI Point Transfer

Hey everyone,
So I called to check on my deed transfer and they said it was all set as of Friday. They gave me my member number and when I went to start my online account it said the member number was already in use… When I called they initially said it could take a couple of weeks until the website makes the change in ownership ( I don’t know if that is BS or not) I stated I already waited 9 weeks, when the rep came back she said can send me a temporary password once I sign in I can change all the info I need to. So I did that and I could change everything except the name on the account… When I called them I gave them my name and zip code which she verified was correct with her records…Also, I logged into RCI to make sure that would work and to my surprise I got lucky enough and the 350 RCI points are still in the account and once again I could change everything except the name on the account. So finally to my question… Should I call them to let the know the name on my login still says the old owner or should I let it ride and see what happens?? I’m afraid if I call them the 350 points will disappear but if I don’t will the reservation still be under the old owners name in RCI??

We had a guy named Leroy as a co-owner on our account for years before Wyndham managed to finally take him off. I guess he was the previous owner of a resale contract we bought.

Leroy never was able to use the account so it was harmless. Come to think of it, if we'd left him on the account, we could have had three overlapping reservations.

I just tried to login and they changed my member number so now my rci account isn't activated yet.. I really hope i do not want to loose all those points but I don't believe there is anything i can

If his name is still on the account the you may get a nice gift. Regardless of if the rci points are still there.
