Has anyone received an offer for a non-Wyndham resort update? A 60 minute Meeting to be held in a lower level office at a Doubletree Hotle .Nothing offered - just explanation of new developments with Wyndham and RCI. Seems Like a scam to me!

Probably some timeshare exit outfit that is looking to separate you from your money.

Yes it's a scam. They try to get you to sign over what you already own and then sell you a vacation club. The vacation clubs are typically a lot of the Last Call inventory you see on RCI and I think what Interval calls their Getaway Weeks.

The people that run these usually only stay in town a few days. Think grifters coming into town for a few days to run a con and leaving town in the middle of the night one step ahead of the sheriff.

We went to one once just to see what they're about. They're run by former Wyndham and other timeshare groups salespeople. Someone before they left their former employment must have downloaded the owners names, addresses, phone numbers and what they own. So they know how to talk the talk.
