I received the attached letter from MVC offering to do a sales presentation/update at a nearby non-MVC Marriott hotel (near where I live)on two days only. Offer: $200 Visa or 40,000 Bonvoy Points.

LOL. yes my time might be worth only $200/hour since I'm retired and at home, not on vacation in Hawaii or something. But I'll be out of town on their specified days anyway so I don't even need to say NO.

Good thing you can't go unless your time is worth $100/hr - the sales presentation/pitch/hard sell is likely to last 2 hours. And I would rephrase the question: how much is your psyche worth, in other words its not just time, its how the time is spent. But some people like them and find them entertaining :shrug:

These are often referred to as their roadshows. During slow times of the year for different sales offices, they will send the sales people from the office out on the road. Quite often they may be from Canyon Villas or other locations in Palm Desert or Phoenix/Scottsdale.
