Is there a club fee due in the year that you do not receive points for HRC? Or do you just pay the maintenance fee in the year it is due and that is it?

Yes. Club dues are paid every year.

If you own several weeks under one account, you pay club dues for each week every year.

For example, you own one odd week and one even week, you pay two club dues every year.

Basically, the club fee covers you making either HRC or Interval trades in that off year. The interval fee is covered from that.

Only one club fee is due every year, regardless of how many contracts you own in the account. That pays HGVC corp for your club amenities, the resort maintenance fees go toward the resort accounts (maint, taxes, insurance, reserve).

I think you meant you pay maintenance fees for each week you own.

For HGVC - yes. For Hyatt - no.

Echino is spot on. I have owned both HGVC and HRC. HGVC has only one club fee no matter how many units you own. You pay a separate club fee for each unit owned in HRC.

They both require a club fee on EOY ownerships to be paid every year. People in HGVC are likely to add an EOY ownership to supplement their points if they already own at least one yearly - no extra club fee goes with it. Conversely, people in HRC are hesitant to add an EOY due to the club fees being added for that unit EVERY year.
