Odd HGVC website behavior

I had a 4 BR booked at Elara. I went to change the dates (add more) and the room size (downgraded to 2 BR). I completed the transaction, it showed me the reduced point balance. I thought everything was fine.

I went back and looked at my reservation list. It is now showing that I have the 4 BR booked for the stay with the additional days, and points are at the 4 BR level. WTF??? Of course the 2 BR that was available is NO longer available. Only way I can drop down now is to cancel what I have and hope to grab it when it comes back. Possible, but not 100% certainty.

Called HGVC and after a 45 min hold, they have no idea what happened. How could HGVC show and confirm one thing and then book something else. So beware and check your reservations in the next few days. Something strange is at work.

This happened last evening. No idea if and when they fix it.

I always check my confirmation emails and look at the list...
Just like checking on airplane seat selections.

Did the CSR have any idea how to accommodate your needs?
How about booking another LV resort?
