Have Owner Care check your account once in awhile. Two things occurred which urged me to contact Owner Care.

First, I tried to do an ARP and was told by the vacation councilor that I had already credit pooled the points from contracts for that resort, Royal Garden, such that those points were not available for an ARP. Secondly, I had aligned all of my contracts to a year end date of Dec 31, but then a new contract purchase was not aligned. In this case, Wyndham will not allow an account to use Wyndham Club Pass, in my case to book a WorldMark resort.

It took Owner Care a day to track down all of the twists and turns in my account. In the end, the Royal Garden points had not been credit pooled, the new contract‘s year end date was aligned, and I ended up with over 600,000 addition/recovered points in the account.

All in all, it was a pretty good day. Here’s one for Wyndham Owner Care.

I had to have my points changed as well. I was trying to book Shell in San Diego and they said all I had left were resale points so I asked the agent to rebook my with my resale so I could book Shell. He did and I got the 5 days at Shell.

I did have to pay a transfer fee of $99.00

I am retired now, so I can contribute more than just reading.

Great news Jim, I'm happy for you.

On the flip side, I just wish that Wyndham could figure out how to track our points accurately and stop messing around with all these points adjustments. I've been adjusted twice now. Neither reviews were requested. Once in their favor, once in my favor. That is in addition to times I've had to call them due to issues.

I can't imagine my bank calling me and telling me that they adjusted my account balance because they realized their system miscalculated my balance. Points are money, very frustrating.

Yes, I keep a spreadsheet. I sure wish I didn't have to.
