Kim is having the cataract lense in her right eye replaced on 11-07 so we decided to stay a few extra days and room around rhe old neighborhood.

We will be staying at Wyndham Royal Garden again. During our stay for the last eye surgery, Kim was looking forward to being able to walk around some since we moved shortly after her Brain surgery and she wasn't getting around well then. That didn't go as planned though as she had Kidney Stones and had to have surgery to remove them.

So this time she is feeling better and we'll see how she gets around. She has a couple things planned. Since she was on the mainland during our 39th Wedding Anniversary, she made reservations for the Buffet at 100 Sails for Saturday night. That's the day we arrive.

We are not going to rent a car. We will just Uber the few times we need to get around.

Also, she has always wanted to go have an Afternoon Tea so we have a reservation a tea house in Chinatown on Sunday. I put the link below. It's called Tea at 1024.

On Monday, I am going for a haircut and then we are going to walk to the beach and have lunch somewhere. Tuesday morning is her surgery day.
We should be back by noon but will probably hang around the resort.

Wednesday, she has to go back in the morning for a follow-up. That won't take long but we don't have any plans for the rest of the day yet. Thursday we come back to Molokai and should be home by about noon.

Hopefully everything goes well and we have a nice little getaway. shaka

Have a great time and hope all goes well with Kim’s eye surgery.

Have a good trip. Sounds like you have some fun things planned.

I'm sorry Kim needs to get the lens replaced. After my cataract surgery the left eye was "too close" and to correct it I was able to have a fairly simple laser procedure. From what I've heard this isn't too unusual.

Hopefully this will be better than the replacement of her left one. That one was totally detached and they really had to dig around to get it out. Her eyes were badly bloodshot for over a week.

This one is still connected so we are hoping for the best. She had the other done 13 years ago. We have been told it's pretty common for this to happen.

Best wishes for a fun visit preop and a successful surgery with uneventful recovery.

Best wishes to you both and praying Kim, have a successful eye surgery .

Well, we have been getting prepared for our trip. We did laundry and we are now packed. We have been cleaning out the refrigerator of perishables and picked up our mail for the last time. We told the office we would be gone until Thursday.

We stopped in town for lunch and we have enough leftovers for dinner so we should be all set.

We take off at about noon and arrive on Oahu at 12:45pm. As long as things are good with Mokulele, as everyone who lives on Molokai says. :D

Tis the Holiday season, Da Christmas Shop opened in Kaunakakai town today. Of course, Kim had to stop for some lights she wanted.

Tomorrow at this time we'll be on Oahu.shaka

Aloha! Holo maluhia. He huakaʻi maikaʻi!

Not too crowded at the Molokai airport. We have a flight on a 30 seater this time so we are flying in style. :D

I didn't think it was a bigger plane when I booked it but I knew we were on a big plane when they gave me a boarding pass. You don't get those for the small plane.

We got to the airport a little early. Kim wanted to stop at a garage sale at the Canoe Club. They posted that they had some Hula skirts there. She was lucky and found one she really liked.

Then we stopped at Molokai Burger for a breakfast sandwich and to kill some time. I drop Kim off with the luggage and then I park the car in the long term parking. It's basically a field along the airport. It works nice and it's free.

We have about an hour before we board and we should be on Oahu at 12 45pm. We will have some time to kill before we can check in but we will leave our bags at the Condo. We are at Wyndham Royal Garden again. Then we have our reservation at 100 Sails for 6pm.

Our flight is running a half hour late. The plane just got here. We should be on Oahu at 1:30pm now.

The taxi on Oahu is really long with these bigger planes.

Jeff, what's a "bugger plane".

21 people on the 30 seater. It's like being in first class.

All checked in. Our studio was ready early. Same layout but we are on the other side of the building compared to last time.

We can see our old Apartment building Aloha Lani from the lanai.

We definitely like this side of the building better. We are facing east so the lanai is awesome in the afternoon and evening.

Here's a few more pictures from the lanai. We are across the street from the Holiday Inn on Kuhio of you know the area.

100 Sails was excellent. Some of the best Prime Rib I have ever had. Kim even had some and she doesn't like Prime Rib. Kim had her fill of Crab legs too.

They gave us a nice Anniversary desert and we even got to enjoy the sunset.

Happy Anniversary, Lovebirds!

Kim has always wanted to have Tea at a tea room so today was her day. The Tea Room was excellent. We were there over two hours. All the tables were full and we had the table in the window so we had a nice little private space.

The Teas were excellent. I had the House Tea and Kim had Cookies and Cream. They really do an excellent job there. In the pictures, there are a couple with Cups and Saucers. The first thing you get to do is pick out your cup. Here's some pictures.

I love a good tea! You're such a good husband to go with her for this.

Heck, there was food involved. :D
Right. Steve has gone with us (meaning me and the daughters) to a couple of teas. I guess it was for the food. ;)

In Bath, UK you can also get a good beer at The Bath Bunn in addition to good tea. Everyone was happy....
