How do you get from Nuevo to Sayulita on the local bus? I know how to get there from WalMart stop in town. Maybe you can take a taxi to Bucerias to the bus stop and get on there, but is there an easier way to get there from Grand mayan or Flamingos?

You can catch the bus in Bucerias or at Wallmart. The taxi is about $11.00 - $14.00 to Bucerias from the marina in NV and $3 -4 less from Nariyat.

Another option

We went from the Mayan Palace out to the highway and when we saw the bus headed for Sayulita, waved it down and it stopped and picked us up. We were told where to stand along the highway to wait for the bus. Don't really recommend standing along the highway, but it worked. Anyway you can get there, I think you will enjoy the day there. Great place to kick back.

Some of our friends took the bus from Bucerias to Guyabitos and said they wouldn't consider it again. We alway rent a car and Sayulita is always a place we enjoy during the day but for sunset we head to San Francisco as you can;t see it in Sayulita in January.

Sayulita is too close to the hills and the sun is too far south to see the sunset there in winter.

Anyone ever eaten at Rollie's Sayulita?

Anyone ever eaten at Rollie's? If not, you missed the BEST restaurant!
It was written up in Fromer's a few years ago. It's straight down from the Plaza on Revolucion about a block. Great breakfast! Never been able to have dinner tho because we take the bus from town at WalMart and last bus goes back too early to stay for dinner.
