Effective July 1, 2024, cruise price displays MUST show the all-in price. Now, mandatory taxes and fees are not shown, but must be paid before final payment is made.

This does NOT MEAN that cruises will get more expensive after 7/1/24, it is just that you will see the total price instead of taxes and fees being hidden.

That is really helpful. Our cruiseline of choice, Celebrity is finally doing that. Costco has returned to doing that recently after a period when they were only showing base price until one went further into the booking process- then WHAM!

A reminder to all to price check your booked cruises regularly. We just saved $660 on a 2025 cruise. I dd have to give up the type of veranda cabin (deluxe porthole) I'd wanted to try on Celebrity Apex and move to an Infinite veranda for the savings.

Moving to a different cabin category can yield significant savings!

I am glad for this new level of transparency too! Makes it easier to compare options and cruise lines.
