Not sure about Wyndham Club Access

Wyndham has closed the Fairfield Bay resort at which we owned. To move over to club access they are doubling our annual maintenance fee. I’m trying to decide whether we should go ahead and move to access, or just look at buying another points based deeded ownership.

If you are not currently a VIP, what I would do is just let them drop you, and then if you want to keep your ownership, buy resale for basically pennies on the dollar at a low maintenance fee resort, and get the same product.

There is zero reason to take the swap to Access if you are not already a VIP

Aside from any already-booked vacations in 2026 that can't easily be replaced/rebooked. Then there's at least a weighing of pros and cons that may have to be done.
