My timeshare is paid off. If I do not pay maintenance fees...does this end up on my credit report?

Probably but not always. It depends on the resort and whether they report and/or whether they sell the debt to a collection agency.

Probably not. Just a few years of dodging collection agency calls and letters. Get a free wifi phone number and change your ownership to that number in advance to avoid calls. Change your address to a relatives or friends also.

They will harass your relatives. If you have someone you do not like, that would work. But if they don't like you, they may give your real info to the credit reporting agency that sends letters.

I've never heard of them calling relatives, no one has ever posted that, sorry i don't believe that.

Many smaller resorts do not pay to belong to credit reporting agencies, so it never even goes that far. Larger resorts, developers, or sometimes large management companies, do. So it depends a lot on the resort. If it is overseas, then it is extremely unlikely.
