Our kids are coming with us next weekend to Bellingham area and son requires new workboots and raingear (construction). For the life of us, we can't think of anywhere but the department stores. We have 'Marks Workwear' here in Canada but not sure what our southern neighbours have?

Thanks
Diane

Google "Yellow Pages Bellingham" or variations. I did that then narrowed the search to 'work clothing' category and came up with several outlets. Isn't the Internet's search capability a wonder?

Not sure of your budget, but there is an REI store on Cornwall Ave. in Bellingham. Also definitely go to Yeagers, on Northwest Ave. Yeagers has been "the" work clothing outfitter in B'ham for as long as I can remember.

In Mount Vernon, (20 miles south of Bellingham on the freeway), you'll find Northern Sales, an excellent "army surplus" type store with excellent work clothing (Carhartt and such.) Also, there's a "Joes," (formerly GI Joes), a sporting goods discounter that has some work clothing.

Far and away, your best bet is Yeagers. Best prices, best selection.

Happy shopping!
