1000 vertical feet or LESS?!?! That isn't even a decent hill, let alone a mountain! Maybe if you're from Florida where the state's highest point is 345 feet and it's a PAVED ROAD! It sure isn't a Ski Mountain!

I will remind you that Lindsey Vonn, the all time leader in World Cup Skiing Championships with 19 Crystal Globes, first learned to ski as a child at Buck Hill with an astounding 310’ vertical drop. (Not to discount where she really became an expert (Vail) after moving to Colorado with her parents;))

Cheers

Used to ski a lot YEARS ago. I skied Mt Tremblant (Canada), Grey Rocks (Canada) and the Poconos, PA ski areas where I built a ski house. My avatar picture is of my ski house. Was there this weekend with snow on my deck. And the electric company 'rebuilding' their transformer box in my front yard. I came in on Thursday and by Sunday, PPL electric had 'moved' down the street to the neighbor next door. The electric is all underground.

When Camelback Ski Area makes snow and the wind is from the north, I get snow "lofting" onto my deck and driveway. L keep a snow shovel at the house. And I have a wood burning fireplace.
