I was shocked to stay at Bonnet Creek two weeks ago and not once get asked to attend any type of update or visit the concierge for my parking pass. Was simply checked in and sent to our room. I was shocked. Not that it was a bad thing :)

I just never answer the phone or the door if I can help it. That usually works for me. Also, I have noticed that with a lot of resorts. I stayed in VA beach and noticed no one hackling me. I think there are less people apt to take commission based jobs in a luxury industry.

Same thing happened to me 4/18. Believe it or not I wanted to do an update and asked about attending one. They said due to cutbacks they couldn't accommodate many.

BC is my home resort and I had never been there and wanted to find out more about the Wyndham changes and the loan assumptions they now offer to see if they make sense for me.

We were there too the last week of April. They seem offended that we turned them down for an owners update. After a few phone calls we finally agreed to attend at $100 a pop, as disney was expensive. (Me and my husband and my parents too.) Plus we had a few issues I wanted to vent about since we were Discovery VIP guests and they were trying to impress us. Needless to say we did not buy at their HIGH prices. We never let it get that far. Not sure we will be back in the near future.
