We just checked into Wyndham Nashville and discovered they no longer have parking passes?! How can this be? Of course we were offered the breakfast but it was not forceful. Maybe this is just at Nashville.

The same happened to us in mid-December on our way to Myrtle Beach, however, they did take our vehicle make, model, color and state the license plate is from (not the license plate number).

I was pleasantly surprised too at the no "parking pass" at Nashville. They said they were trying to get away from that system. And the pressure to attend the breakfast/lunch meeting wasn't too bad.

But then they had to ruin it by calling the room the next day with the "bring your gift-survey" spiel. Why isn't one no enough! :annoyed:

We were in Nashville for 2 nights and received 3 calls on my cell phone to setup a time someone could drop off our 'gift'. (we never answer the condo phone) I guess in the Wonderful World of Wyndham, no doesn't mean no.

For those of you who haven't stayed at Wyndham Nashville, just down the road, well within walking distance, is the Nashville Palace (a little further away is the Grand Ole Opry). Good food and great music. The musicians are up and coming country singers paying their dues to get known. It's worth a visit if you plan a night out.

When they asked for my cell I told them it was only to be used for an emergency and not for sale purposes.

REALLY ... they complied?

I tell them I don't have a cell - while I am holding my 2 cells in my hand. If they ask/question/get rude, I tell the hangtag person ... those are WORK CELL PHONES; NO PERSONAL CALLS allowed.

Parking Pass was alive and well in Sedona last week.

So far so good. I don't answer any phone call from someone I don't recognize. If it's important enough to call it's important enough to leave a message.

This is exactly why I keep mine on do not disturb. If you are not in my contacts you get my voicemail and the phone never even rings!
