No more separate buckets - a point is a point

It might actually be an interesting test as to whether it was because the points are restricted that it's not showing anything for June (although lots for May, and the beginning of June should show already), or if online only shows availability from the "points bucket" you're in- so that legacy points would only see days/weeks in the exchange pool and trust points would see trust availability. Could it be that only on the phone the reps can effectively merge the two buckets and treat a point as a point?

Agreed.

Whether reserving weeks or with points ... if I am ever denied the reservation I want via online methods, I always call to check again.

You get better availability over the phone from my own personal experience.

Example: When reserving my week, I wanted a Saturday check-in but only Friday and Sunday were available online. So I made a phone call and got the Saturday check-in date that I wanted.
 
legacy point trade into maui

I traded legacy points today for one week ocean front studio at marriott maui ocean club one year out for next april after easter. I thought it would be a hard trade, but was even given choices of views available. Maybe avail cause after easter and springbreak. I had a pending request with interval and never heard back from them, so gave up on them and wanted to specify view anyway. Really happy with the point system, not happy trading 2 bedroom oceanview aruba for studio in maui.
