I guess it's back to Denny's & Waffle House -- all the Bennigan's are 86.

The way I read the press release I thought only the company owned Bennigans were closing down, that the franshisee owned would stay open.

Our Benigan's closed several years ago. I didn't realize they were still around.

Our Steak & Ales and Bennigans all closed down years ago. There was a Bennigans about 100 miles away that I always hit when I was in the area, but they closed too a year or so ago. We always enjoyed them when we were in Florida. At one time, they had the BEST potato soup, but they later changed the recipe and I didn't like it as well.

In Minnesota the chain-owned Bennigan's closed, but the franchise-owned Bennigan's remains open. We enjoy Bennigan's so lucky for us the one that is still open is close to us.

We have two here...wonder if they will remain open.

The one close to us closed but it was just as well. The quality had stunk for sometime and we hadn't considered going there for a number of years. In fact I have no idea how long it had been closed before I even noticed it was gone.

Just read in our newspaper that both Bennigans are closing.

The Bennigans in Bonita Springs is staying open.

Does anybody really mind that Bennigans are closing down?

I mean of all the chain restuarants in their price range are they not the worse (except for maybe applebees)? Even when I was dating my wife 20 years ago, they stunk!

Not that I eat out often with two 5 yr old girls, but that is the last place I ever want to go.

For a place in that price range, I prefer Chili's or Ruby Tuesdays by far.

Dessert. Yum.

Does anybody really mind that Bennigans are closing down?
Is there any other restaurant chain with Death By Chocolate on the menu ?
