Nightly Fee for points

I have seen a couple of points listings that I was interested in that indicated that there is a $19 fee per night when using points to book single nights. This charge is by either RCI or the resort. What is the story on that?

This is RCI's transaction fee. However, it you're reserving 5 nights or more, the total price is $79 USD / $94 CAD, which brings the nightly price down to $15.80 USD / $18.80 CAD or less.

1 night stay = $19 USD / $23 CAD
2 night stay = $38 USD / $45 CAD
3 night stay = $57 USD / $68 CAD
4 night stay = $76 USD / $90 CAD
5 nights or more = $79 USD / $94 CAD

It is important to note that some resorts also require a housekeeping fee separately. You may wish to contact resorts to inquire before reserving.
