We just got back a couple weeks ago from almost two weeks in Hawaii, four nights on Oahu and then seven on Maui. And today I made our reservations for next year at Kaui Beach Villas. We are confirmed for the H10 unit & my daughter the G1 unit. :cheer:
We tried to get her the G5 but it was already taken.

Absolutely green with envy! Where's the envious smilie when you need it? I guess this will have to do: :D

To get those nice locations for next year, I'm assuming you are an owner (or you have very good connections)?

Congrats on the next trip! I love having reservations for the next one on the heels of completing the first one...

How was Imperial Waikiki? I think I remember from old threads that you are a big fan of that property -- everything still good? it's 1BRs and Studios correct?

Best,

Greg

The Imperial is a nice older condo, notice I did not say resort. Because resort it is not. The best thing about the Imperial is it is clean, the staff is friendly and it is in a great location. Being in downtown Waikiki is like being in a major city, so if you want serenity don't go to Waikiki. But the location of the Imperial is at the end of the the beach, which makes it nice.

Looks like you have some fun planned for this year. Where on the California Coast are you going. In September my DH & I will celebrate our 25th anninversary, and we are thinking of a road trip. We are in Northern California, so I was thinking Drive quickly to Southern CA then take our time driving back seeing the sights. Possibly driving the 1 or is it the 101 maybe both on the way back. We have family along the way so it would be nice to see everyone and have free place to stay. LOL We have not commited yet, but are throwing the idea around.

Even better, if the reservations come during a vacation. For example, each of the past two years' Thanksgiving week (using II) exchange confirmations for Newport Beach came almost exactly 12 months out, with the first being the day we started our first day in Paris !

We actually find ourselves doing our best vacation planning/brainstormings during vacation, when we are both relaxed being away from the buziness called life :D But again, we mainly do exchanges, rarely every going to our home resorts, so it takes some "thinking" to make vacations work for us, as opposed to those who primarily travel "home" every year.

Sounds like you got a great trip coming up, enjoy! AND good luck to the G-men, but unfortunately I will be rooting for the Pats as they are a family favorite being the ones playing on the afternoon my son was born ten years ago tomorrow ! Plus, Brady's a local boy !

We're flying into Reno (seeing family there) then driving over to San Francisco for a night, then down to Monterey for three nights (Monterey Bay Aquarium, Carmel, Big Sur, and Hearst Castle.) Then zipping back to Fairfield (more family), and flying back to Seattle from Sacramento. Were also not above using family for free night's lodging. :) it's a fast trip we've done before, and we like the coast so much, I need to figure a time to take my BMW down that road.
