Newport Marriott Sold for $5,350

I don't think that's all that shocking. Even with ROFR and before the economic slump, gold weeks had gotten through for $7,500 and platinum for $9,500.

I expect you'll see even lower prices in the first quarter of next year when MF are due.

The thing is that MF are actually due now. Or in less than a month as I believe most Marriott MFs are due January 15th of each year.

This is about what I would expect in today's market as well for NCV gold. Grand Chateau platinum is selling for slightly more than that price now as well. About $10K less than 18 months ago.
