Newest Remodeled Building at Ocean Pointe

Any recommendations? I want to stay away from a room that overlooks the Reception building. Had that type of room a couple of times, and it is very noisy at all hours.

Kingfish is the latest, and the one redone before that was Cobia. Both buildings are in good shape and you won't see the check in area if you are in either of those buildings.

I don't blame you for not wanting to be close to the reception building. That entire area is way too busy for our taste, we've been coming here to Kingfish for maybe twenty years which is fairly private, and the beach just outside your door. I can't speak to the pool as the only time I see it is when we walk through the pool area to get to the beach, but I don't recall ever seeing it crowded. Hope that helps.

We just got back from a week there that I obtained via exchange. Although I was fortunate to get an ocean front villa, I requested: to be near a fitness center and a quiet pool; at Cobia or Pompano; and high floor. I knew as an exchanger I would not get high floor. They gave me a 1st floor villa in Dolphin, near the noisiest pool, and the noise was really bad from the DJs by the pool during the day, and karaoke on two nights. It was the 2nd farthest building from a fitness center, but not a bad walk. Everything seemed the opposite of what I requested.

Still, I wouldn't have traded that ocean view for a parking lot view in the quiet buildings.
